Every file's SHA-256 fingerprint is looked up with VirusTotal — the file itself is never sent anywhere, and nothing here opens it. That means the check can only recognise a file somebody has already analysed: anything new, repacked, encrypted or inside an archive has never been analysed by anyone, and carries no verdict at all rather than being called clean. A clean result means nothing has been reported against that fingerprint before; it is not a promise that a file is safe, so treat a download from a stranger as you would any other.
Yes. Open Your uploads, find the link and delete it — the files go from storage there and then. Signed in, the link is matched to your account; anonymously, the manage code shown when the link was made is the proof.
